I'm a firm believer that a photo in print gives an image a life that is not present when view on an LCD screen. Every single time I print an image of mine in ink on paper, I'm stunned at the beauty it holds that I never saw before on the screen. In a way, it's like rediscovering the photograph all over again.
I've been feeling the urge to make prints of my photographs. I just want to see my images on paper. The dilemma? Nowhere to put them! I don't have a wall to hang them on. So, I decided that rather than let images go unprinted, I would make the prints and give them away for you to enjoy.
So, I'm going to select one image to print each month for the next four. Size of the print will depend on the image selected and what you would like! I'll make recommendations based on the photograph, some look better large than others. And I'll take care of shipping costs from here in Shanghai to anywhere on the globe as well.
Drop your name in the comments below before the 12th of February if you'd like a print, and make sure you fill in your email address as well. I'll select one person at random from the list using my top secret random number generation algorithm and complex mathematics.....or something like that, and I will get in contact!
So to get us started, February's image is above. It's without a doubt my favorite from all of 2014, from Udaipur, India. A simple quiet moment in the early morning. Cheers!
