Nepal: Here We Go

I'm packed and ready. I'm getting on the plane tomorrow, and  I won't be home for 2.5 weeks. I've got my guest houses booked and that's it. No other plans. And I love it. Freedom to explore, wander, and get lost. Originally, this was supposed to be a retreat for me, but I'm realizing it won't be entirely. It was going to be me and my camera, no computer, no phone, no contact to the outside world. But....I caved. Or rather I realized, that I have too much work to do while there. Sad I guess, but I'll be bringing my computer and a couple external hard drives so I'll send a postcard or two while I am there ;)

If your interested in what I'm taking with:

  • Canon 5d Mark III
  • Canon 5d Mark II
  • Canon 35mm f/1.4L
  • Canon 50mm f/1.2L
  • Canon 135mm f/2L
  • Sekonic L-758 light meter
  • Batteries, memory cards 4X
  • MacBook Air and Lacie Rugged 1TB HDDs
  • Cables and Cords to boot
  • A weeks' worth of clothes
  • Bible and Moleskine
  • Day bag
  • Toothbrush
  • Outlet adapter
  • Passport

It's supposed to be the dry season, so the weather looks just about perfect (50F-70F).

I'm stoked. See you soon!
